Frequently asked questions
Return Policy
Fabric must be returned new, unwashed, unmarked, and uncut in the original condition you received it.
PreCuts and quilt kits must be returned unopened and in the original manufactures packaging
In the rare case you receive an item with a manufacture defect please contact us immediately for a full refund or replacement
Please contact us within 3 days of receiving your package to request a return authorization. Unauthorized fabric returns will be donated, they will not be refunded, reshipped or credited. US returns must be postmarked within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. If you received Free Shipping on your order, the cost of original shipping cost will be deducted from your credit.
Shipping
We ship orders Monday-Friday. Your order will be shipped out the next business day from the time your order is received. However, if your order comes in before 11 AM, (CST) it will usually get shipped out the same business day.
Etsy’s system has yet to perfect the cost of shipping. Most of the time Etsy over charges if multiple items are ordered. The Quilting Boutique will always refund you back any shipping overages over $1.00.
International Shipping
The Quilting Boutique does not know what your duty/tax fees will be, and we do not have an option to prepay your duty/tax fees. We do not accept returns nor refund for packages not claimed due to lack of duty/tax fee payments.
In the unfortunate event your Priority Mail package is lost I can file a claim after 30 days. After the insurance claim is filed it takes up to 10 business days to receive a refund and then I will give you the refund. I can only refund the amount of insurance.
If the lost package is not Priority Mail, I will do my best to work with the Post Office and track your order. But please check with your neighbors and local post office to see if they possibly have it.
Additional FAQ
Fabric is cut "straight" according to the bolt, not the design or print on the fabric. (With the exception of Fabric Panels.) This is standard practice in all quilt shops. When your pattern calls for a specific cut always order a little extra to insure you can place the pattern in the best position.
Reserved Listings products are not cut, packaged or shipped until they are paid for. I will hold a Reserved listing for 24 hrs. Please communicate notice of delayed payment and I will be happy to work with you.
I will only accept cancellations or changes to an order before the order ships

Lost domestic packages
In the unfortunate event your Priority Mail package is lost I will be able to file a insurance claim after 15 days. After the insurance claim is filed it takes up to 10 business days to receive a refund, I will then refund it to you. The Quilting Boutique can only refund the amount of the insurance.
If your lost package is a First Class Ground Shipping package I will do everything I can to work with the Post Office to track and find your package. If you do track your package and it says delivered, but you did not receive it. Please check with your neighbors and give it a couple days to show up. In the couple of instances that packages have been missing with my customers they were accidentally delivered to their neighbors house.
